 Comparison of the endogenous distribution of hydroxycinnamoyl acid amides (HCA) caffeoylputrescine (CP), feruloylputrescine (FP) and diferuloylputrescine (DFP) in field grown Solanum tuberosum ssp. tuberosum cv. Astrid.
(a) Distribution in the underground shoot. Unthick. = unthickened, thick. = thickened.
(b) Distribution in the aboveground shoot and in the root.
Results expressed as means of two independent measurements (extracts from organs taken from 230 and 14 plants respectively), which did not differ by more than 50 % (exceptions: unthickened stolontips 60 %, roots 120 %). DW = dry weight.
